Job summary

The Spot in Boulder, CO is hiring routesetters to create and produce high-quality commercial boulder problems and routes. You will contribute to a unique flavor of routesetting that emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and community involvement through events and competitions.

As part of a setting team, you will set for climbers of all levels, maintain equipment, and participate in training sessions to continuously improve your skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial route setting experience.
• Experience in indoor climbing gym environment preferred.
• Ability to forerun v5/5.12 comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Execute route setting activities to maintain top quality and innovation.
• Improve products and establish gym as an industry leader.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; coordinate with leads and manager.
• Work with leads to improve department efficiency and performance.
• Attend mandatory training and team meetings.
