Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department, collaborating with drivers on audits, training, and safety.

The role requires supervising the distribution team, conducting new hire trainings (including two ride-alongs weekly), and spending at least half the schedule on the road for audits and trainings. Strong knowledge of DOT/FMC regulations and fleet safety is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required.
• Experience in route structuring, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and HOS regulations.
• Prior experience supervising commercial drivers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HP Hood site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department.
• New Hire trainings to include at least two ride alongs a week.
• Minimum of 50% of work schedule on the road conducting audits and trainings.
• Promote safety program and identify/eliminate risks and foster safe work habits.
• Assist in motor vehicle accident reports and investigations.
• Provide daily updates to internal and external customers as needed.
• Monitor route times and assist in investigations; resolve customer complaints as needed.
• Assist in fleet management and repairs.
• Maintain DOT, HOS, and FMCSA compliance.
• Back-up to drive routes when a driver calls out.
• Other duties as assigned.
