Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation team. You will coordinate audits and trainings, supervise safety practices, and ensure DOT/HOS compliance while supporting SQF efforts.

The role involves significant on‑road work, driver coaching, and collaboration with internal customers to maintain high service standards. The ideal candidate will have a CDL-A, strong leadership and people skills, and experience in route planning, safety, and

Qualifications

CDL-A license required and clean driving record.
Experience in route structuring, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and HOS regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to HP Hood site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation Department.
New Hire trainings including at least two ride alongs per week.
Minimum of 50% of work schedule on the road conducting audits and trainings.
Promote safety program and drive safe work habits and behaviors.
Assist Distribution Management on accident reports and investigations.
Provide daily updates to internal and external customers as needed.
Monitor route times and assist in resolving customer complaints.
Back-up to drive routes when drivers are out.
Maintain DOT, HOS and FMCSA compliance.
SQF-related duties and reports as needed.
Site SQF documentation and training support.
Other duties as assigned.
