Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Distribution Supervisor in Massachusetts to lead site drivers and oversee the Distribution/Transportation Department. You will conduct audits, trainings and ensure safety compliance while coordinating with internal and external customers.

The role involves on-site work, road time, and adherence to DOT/HOS regulations. CDL-A is required, with prior supervisory experience in a distribution environment.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required and active.
• Experience in route structuring, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Proven knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and HOS regulations.
• Supervising commercial drivers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HP Hood site drivers and the Distribution/Transportation team.
• New hire trainings with ride-alongs.
• 50% of work time on the road conducting audits and trainings.
• Promote safety program and identify risks; drive safe practices.
• Assist with motor vehicle accident reports and investigations.
• Provide daily/as-needed updates to customers; monitor route times.
• Serve as a back-up to drive routes when needed.
