Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Specialist in the Atlanta, GA area to deliver clean garments and products to customers on assigned routes. You will load and unload goods, collect used items, and ensure timely, accurate service while maintaining safety.

The role emphasizes autonomy with team collaboration, strong customer service, and problem-solving skills. The position requires a valid driver’s license, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently while staying team-oriented.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes including customer-specific details to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers, load/unload, and collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently using problem-solving skills.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic safety standards and company policies to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams on route support and account installations, with upsell opportunities.
