Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage an assigned route, deliver and pick up garments, and build strong customer relationships. You’ll represent UniFirst on the road, ensuring reliable service and safe operations across daily routes.

The role emphasizes upselling opportunities to grow the route, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no nights or weekends, offering earnings growth from day one and formal SCP training for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; able to operate company truck.
• Customer service and route/delivery experience preferred.
• Comfortable with technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: be the primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support Daily Operations: load/unload route trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time deliveries and returns with strong customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport, address service needs, upsell products and services.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upselling opportunities to grow the route and earnings.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate the company walk-in truck on designated routes, prioritizing safety.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety standards.
