Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Bethlehem, PA, is seeking a Route Sales Representative to service and grow our Lehigh Valley customer base. You will sell and deliver uniforms, linens, and mats, building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.

This full-time role offers daytime routes, a 4-day work week, and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 22 for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Valid driver's license in good standing with a clean record.
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into/out of customer locations.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving skills, and client rapport.
• Adhere to appearance and dress code policy.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

What You\'ll Do

• Title: Linen Route Service Representative
• Sales and Service Excellence: Navigate your designated route, servicing existing customers, and introducing innovative product solutions to enhance their businesses. Utilize your customer service and sales skills to organically expand your route, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Strategic Inventory Management: Maintain accurate invoice inventories and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure consistency and reliability. Identify additional products and services that can bring added value to our customers, presenting these opportunities during customer interactions. Proactively negotiate service agreement renewals with customers to solidify long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth.
• Safety and Compliance: Execute your responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and adherence to safety standards and driving regulations. Ensure compliance while representing Dempsey Uniform on the road.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Dempsey Uniform, representing the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
