Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage deliveries and pickups on a designated route, building strong customer relationships and ensuring reliable service. You will load/unload route trucks, drive safely, and seek upselling opportunities to grow the route.

The role runs Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights or weekends, and rewards dependability and strong customer focus with potential for earnings growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT requirements include a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers on the assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Assist service team with loading/unloading route trucks to start each day accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers, address service needs, and upsell garments and products.
• Identify opportunities to grow the route and increase earnings.
• Operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes, prioritizing safety and professional conduct.
• Maintain a physically active routine across indoor and outdoor environments and comply with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.
