Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage a dedicated daily route, delivering and picking garments and products. You will build strong customer relationships, ensure on-time service, and identify opportunities to grow the route while representing UniFirst on the road.

In this field-based role, you’ll work on a full-time schedule, with Monday–Friday daytime hours and no nights. Training is provided to support performance and safety on the job.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable learning new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Support Daily Operations: load/unload route trucks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport and upsell new garments and products.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upselling opportunities to expand the route.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate a walk-in truck, emphasize safety and service.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and follow safety standards.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours, same route each week.
