Job summary

UniFirst Canada is seeking a Route Service Representative who will deliver and pick garments daily, manage assigned customers, and grow routes with upselling opportunities. This field-based role requires safety focus, strong customer service, and independent work on a fixed daytime schedule.

You will build lasting customer relationships, support daily operations, and represent UniFirst with professionalism on the road.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus
• Comfortable using technology to improve operational efficiency
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Support Daily Operations: Load/unload route trucks and ensure accurate starts to each day.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: Ensure on-time deliveries and returns with strong customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: Build rapport with customers and introduce new garments and products.
• Drive Sales Growth: Identify upselling opportunities and grow the route’s revenue.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: Safely operate a company walk-in truck along routes.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: Work indoors and outdoors with energy and safety focus.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: Troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends
