Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide exceptional service along a predefined route of customers and dealers in Fort Collins, CO. You will ensure product availability, execute battery quality programs, and foster strong dealer relationships to improve retention.

The role requires a high school diploma, delivery experience, and a valid CDL with DOT medical card.

Formación

• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Able to read, write, and compute basic math.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Minimum one year of delivery and customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Accurate with attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency in tasks.
• Overtime possible; overnight routes may be required.
• Clean driving record and CDL qualifications.
• Valid DOT medical card.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver batteries and service dealers on the route safely and on time.
• Load and unload trucks; maintain asset records.
• Establish, build, and maintain dealer relationships.
• Keep displays full, clean, and rotated per consignment.
• Manage dealer accounts: sales, consignment, warranties, cash, invoicing.
• Complete delivery/route paperwork promptly.
• Collect and return junk/used batteries to the warehouse.
• Interact professionally with all stakeholders.
• Follow driver program requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
