Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries on a predefined route and provide exceptional service to dealers within the territory. You will collaborate to optimize rack stock, execute battery quality programs, and strengthen dealer relationships for retention.

Responsibilities include safeloading, inventory accuracy, paperwork, and professional interaction with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Delivery and customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and service each dealer on route safely and timely.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety rules.
• Load and unload trucks and maintain asset records.
• Establish and maintain dealer relationships.
• Keep displays clean, full, and rotated per agreements.
• Manage dealer accounts including sales, warranties, invoicing.
• Complete delivery/route paperwork promptly.
• Interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Follow driver program requirements.
• Other duties as assigned
