The role requires a valid chauffeur's license, DOT and Health certificates, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Develops a sales strategy, including cold calling, door-to-door selling, and product demonstrations.
• Drives along a designated route to sell products and calling on regular customers.
• Informs existing customers of upgrades to products, as well as introducing new product lines.
• Analyzes consumer behavior and collaborates with the sales department to remain competitive.
• Takes purchase orders, negotiate sales contracts, and collects cash payments.
• Maintain sales records and meeting sales targets, and presents managers with regular updates.
• Liaises with other departments to ensure efficient customer service and resolves complaints.
• Ensures promotional and demonstration materials are kept in mint condition.
• Keeps the sales vehicle's interior and exterior clean.
• Performs basic sales vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and gas/oil levels.
• Assists with loading truck for deliveries.
• Maintains a safety record with no accidents or injuries.

Job Details: Job Location: Guam - Tamuning, GU, Salary Range: Undisclosed, SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Route Salesman sells products and provide services to customers located on designated routes. Develops sales strategies in-order to meet sales targets, follow up on sales leads, and build long-lasting relationships with their customers to retain their business and promote new product offerings.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work includes movement in and around vehicles, exposure to an outdoor environment, including inclement weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.). May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time, move around the facility from one location to another, talk, hear, use fingers to type, handle or feel and reach objects and lift and/or move objects 10 pounds or less. The employee may occasionally need to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend and lift and/or move items 40 pounds or more. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time, exempt position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 am to 12 p.m.

TRAVEL

Local travel to various worksites may be required.
