Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Trainee to learn the skills needed to become a Route Sales Representative or Route Delivery Driver. Training covers sorting, inventory, loading, and merchandising daily orders for retail customers.

The role may require non-traditional hours, weekends or holidays, with potential overnight travel. DOT certification and FMCSA compliance are essential, and a neat appearance is required for daily customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Learn required tasks to become Route Sales Representative or Route Delivery Driver.
• Train and service accounts during customer designated service windows.
• Operate CMV following FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organize inventory.
• Support introduction of new products and drive shelf space/promotions.
