Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in West Jordan, UT is seeking a Route Sales Trainee to learn how to become a Route Sales Representative or Route Delivery Driver. The role requires training, DOT certification, and adherence to FMCSA rules, with possible weekend/holiday work and occasional overnight travel.

The incumbent must present a neat appearance and comply with company policies. In this position you will gain industry knowledge, work daily to service accounts, and leverage internal data to drive sales

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Salary Range- 22.88/hr while training and then Base+Commission.

Responsibilities

• Must obtain DOT medical certification and re-certification to drive a CMV.
• Maintain compliant vehicle records and perform daily inspections.
• Safely operate a CMV and adhere to FMCSA/DOT rules and local regulations.
• Establish strong customer relations and execute sales solutions.
• Order products using the state-of-the-art planner and support route coverage.
• Follow route structure, stop sequence, and service times to ensure consistency.
