Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver in Minneapolis, MN to build positive customer relationships and exceed sales goals. You will safely operate a step van, manage routes, and handle loading/unloading while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes customer service, communication, and independent work to drive route growth. Responsibilities include completing daily invoices, meeting sales targets, and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of customers.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and quickly resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van in designated area to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Load/unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Communicate services, policies, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly and courteously.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
