Job summary

Vestis in Memphis, TN is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver to build solid relationships with customers, balance service with sales growth, and act as an advocate for the organization. You will operate a company step van, manage daily route, load/unload, review invoices, and help procure new business while ensuring safety and compliance.

This role requires a customer-focused approach, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Customer service experience across a variety of clients is required.
• Strong math and basic computer skills are necessary.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a route van to serve a variety of clients.
• Verify vehicle maintenance and maintain driver documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load/unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth for profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospects, and install new accounts.
• Clearly communicate services, policies, and pricing to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle issues promptly and courteously.
• Adhere to safety practices and perform other duties as assigned.
