Vestis seeks a Route Sales Support Driver to build strong customer relationships while delivering on sales goals. This role requires operating a step van, maintaining vehicle paperwork, and growing the route through proactive prospecting and service excellence.

The position emphasizes independent route management, accurate invoicing, and clear communication of pricing and policies. A valid license and reliable driving record are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and solve customer concerns quickly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van in designated area to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Load/unload product per policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, and assist in procuring new business.
• Communicate pricing, policies, and services clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and promptly address issues.
• Prioritize personal safety and follow all safety policies.
