Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver to build solid relationships with customers and strive to exceed their expectations. The role balances exceptional customer service with achieving sales growth goals within a competitive market.

You will safely operate a step van, manage routes, load/unload products, review invoices, and pursue new business opportunities to drive route profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services or generating new business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van to provide products and service to a variety of clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain proper operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
• Load/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promotes overall route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads/prospects, calls on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
