Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver to build solid relationships with customers, safely operate a step van, and deliver products and service to a variety of clients in Fort Dodge and surrounding areas.

You will meet sales goals, analyze invoices, develop leads, install new accounts, and promote route growth while upholding excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with broad client contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services or generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment and quickly resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van to deliver products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and complete operator documentation.
• Manage daily route to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Load/unload product per policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads, contact prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Communicate policies, pricing, and services clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow safety practices and perform other duties as required.
