Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Representative (RSR) to manage ordering, sales, delivery, and merchandising for a portfolio of baked goods across retail accounts, restaurants, and institutions.

The role emphasizes building relationships with store managers, meeting customer expectations, and driving incremental sales through market programs. The RSR will service accounts during designated windows, may work non-traditional hours, weekends or holidays, and must obtain a DOT medical

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical certification to drive a CMV.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a sales associate and delivery driver to drive retail sales and territory sales.
• Leverage internal sales data and company marketing plans to drive growth with customers through proper planning, ordering, and execution.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relations to communicate sales solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
• Order product using an online state-of-the-art order planner to ensure customers receive the freshest product possible.
• Increase sales through shelf space expansion and in-store promotions and displays.
• Adhere to the route structure, stop sequence, and service times to drive efficiency and consistent service times.
• Follow retailer/account SOPs, including check-in/check-out and service windows.
