Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Specialist to deliver fresh products to existing customers, grow accounts, and merchandise on routes. The RSS will work closely with customers, support sales initiatives, and help develop customer relations by ordering, merchandising, and display opportunities.

Responsibilities include assisting with training, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining contract terms while supporting a growing brand across multiple routes.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• 1–3 years of related experience in DSD preferred.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently.
• Able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop and kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh product to existing customers on routes and merchandises.
• Set up new accounts and merchandise.
• Assist Sales Leadership in day-to-day operations and issues.
• Assist with training of new Route Sales Professionals.
• Deliver on open routes until new RSPs are trained; assist with rack resets.
• Partner with Route Sales Professionals to align in account chains.
• Manage route activity including distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Communicate promotions and delivery expectations to customers and ensure contract terms are met.
