Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Route Sales Representative to manage ordering, sales, delivery and merchandising of fresh baked products for retail customers, restaurants and institutions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in retail sales, DSD sales, or B2B sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced route sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a sales associate and delivery driver to drive retail and territory sales.
• Use internal data and marketing plans to grow sales with customers through planning, ordering and execution.
• Maintain strong customer relations and communicate sales solutions to improve satisfaction.
• Place orders using the online order planner to ensure fresh products are delivered.
• Increase sales through shelf space expansion and in-store promotions and displays.
• Follow the route structure, stop sequence and service times to ensure efficiency and consistent service.
