Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to manage merchandise, displays, and store-level sales in Virginia. You will drive a company route truck, secure new display space, and leverage promotions to grow sales while maintaining accurate route documentation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, DOT medical card, and experience in Direct Sales Distribution. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Chauffer License may be required if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Drive sales by securing new display space and using sales data to inform store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring promotions execution.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash with proper inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
