Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to merchandise and stock products, drive sales, and manage account relationships in the Dubuque, IA area. The role starts early, with a 4:00 am shift and a four-day work pattern, and offers full benefits and potential bonuses.

You will visit accounts, introduce new products, and use data to optimize shelf presence while ensuring accurate daily settlements and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• 1–3 years of related DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring promotions.
• Introduce new products and maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures for all products, invoices, and cash with inventory counts.
• Safely drive the route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
