Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to merchandise, stock, and drive sales on grocery routes in California. You will manage displays, secure new shelf space, and maintain accurate route records while upholding safety and DOT compliance.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and 1–3 years' DSD experience. A Chauffer license may be required in some states.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Chauffer License may be required for IN, MI, TN locations.
• 1-3 years of DSD experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts.
• Safely drive the route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
