Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser to sell, merchandise and manage inventory for a defined group of stores on daily routes, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel between locations.

You will be the Coca-Cola subject matter expert for your accounts, building retailer partnerships, executing promotions, stocking displays, and coordinating with Merchandisers who support your territory.

Qualifications

• Effective communication including listening, speaking and writing.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
• High initiative and willingness to learn.
• Career-minded with a highly competitive nature.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned group of customers on daily routes to generate sales orders and support revenue goals.
• Execute promotions and new products based on plans to ensure strong execution scores.
• Stock, merchandise and rotate products on display and shelf.
• Organize back room, inventory, pallets and damaged/expired stock handling.
• Create and distribute point-of-sale materials; maintain displays.
• Foster relationships with store personnel through follow-up and proactive communication.
• Identify competitive issues and market activities and follow safety guidelines in all duties.
