Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver to build strong customer relationships and drive route growth in the Vinton, VA area. You will safely operate a step van, manage daily routes, load and unload products, review invoices, and pursue new business while upholding Vestis' service standards.

You will collaborate with customers to understand needs, resolve issues promptly, and relay feedback to the sales team to support growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of customers.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services and generating new business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van in designated area to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product; load/unload per policy.
• Review invoices daily for completeness and accuracy; make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
