Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Spokane is looking for a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, performing service tasks, and upselling services. Reports to the District Manager and works to meet customer needs while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; minimum one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (CDL if applicable) and be 21+ years old.
• Clean driving record with no chargeable accidents or violations.
• Minimum 1 year of safe driving experience.
• Strong customer service and route sales skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; ability to follow directions and manage time; team player.
• Ability to count, recognize colors, sizes and types of product; perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; run routes during holidays or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training, and other tasks.
• Solicit new customers; up-sell/cross-sell; ensure profitable product mix.
• Participate in promotions, contests, training and audits.
• Follow company policies regarding new customers and service.
• Ensure customer loyalty and outstanding customer service; build relationships.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle; maintain vehicle cleanliness and inspections.
• Handle payments; keep route paperwork current.
• Ensure timely deliveries and manage textile inventories; service facility items.
• Monitor competitive activity; renew service agreements.
• Return from route; offload soiled textiles; unload at facility.
• Prepare route paperwork; follow check-in procedures.
• Follow instructions; perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
• Support other service personnel as required.
