Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Proficiency in routing software and mapping tools.
Excellent customer service with professional demeanor.
Strong verbal and written communication.

Experience in logistics/dispatch or route planning preferred.
Attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch drivers and technicians to locations based on schedules and needs.
Open driving routes daily and ensure routes are efficiently planned.
Monitor drivers' progress and manage route timings throughout the day.
Use routing software to optimize daily routes, saving time and fuel.
Schedule and confirm delivery teams daily and ensure readiness for deployment.
Communicate professionally with internal staff, customers, and vendors.
Prepare paperwork for routes and next-day deliveries with accuracy.
Read route sheets and plan trips to maximize efficiency.
Communicate with drivers to address route issues and timing.
Maintain communication with dispatch and contact customers as needed.
Submit daily paperwork, delivery reports, and route adjustments to management.
Review delivery processes and identify areas for improvement.
