Job summary

Safety Kleen in Norwell, MA is seeking a Central Route Planner to join their safety-conscious team. You will create and adjust service routes, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance across branches within the region from the Central Routing Operations manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 - 5 years previous experience with routing, scheduling, or dispatching.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office. Outlook and Excel, experience with Fleetwise routing software is a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to make discretionary judgments and decisions quickly and correctly in short time frames.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems by collecting and processing available information quickly and accurately.
• Customer service aptitude.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, adjust and maintain service routes for multiple branches within an assigned region.
• Execute scheduling and routing, maximizing customer yield and asset utilization.
• Review weekly route plans for accuracy, timing, and feasibility based on customer needs, compliance, and resource availability.
• Utilize routing software and internal systems to manage work orders, capacity, and scheduling requests.
• Other duties as required.
