Job summary

You will plan routes, integrate new customers, monitor routes for mileage and cost savings, schedule drivers within overtime limits, maintain loading data, and prepare reports and proposals to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Roadnet and related utilities.
• Ability to operate MS Office (Excel) and basic math.
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Route customer orders for multiple facilities in the most efficient way.
• Plan routes, including new customers and adjustments for seasonality.
• Analyze routes to reduce miles, delivery days and costs.
• Perform standard route maintenance and daily loading data for the warehouse.
• Schedule drivers within overtime guidelines and hours of service rules.
• Prepare reports for sales and management; develop proposals to improve efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain Roadnet system.
