Job summary

WM is seeking a Transportation/Route Supervisor to manage daily collection routes and oversee driver and laborer performance in a Houston area operation. You will organize resources, schedule routes, and monitor time and safety compliance to ensure service standards are met.

The role involves coordinating with maintenance, promoting safety, and handling incident follow-ups while ensuring regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (accredited)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Organizes and schedules resources to accomplish activities and coordinates daily operational needs with Maintenance team.
• Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards.
• Monitors driver and laborer time and attendance, minimizing overtime and ensuring regulatory hour limits.
• Reviews weekly demand/volume for routes and considers re-routing to improve efficiency.
• Sets and monitors productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver.
• Acquires and coordinates temporary workers assigned to assist drivers on routes.
