Job summary

Continental is seeking a Route Manager to lead and optimize our Akron Market and Vending routes. You will coordinate field operations, drive efficiency, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across our client locations.

The role requires 5+ years in route management or logistics in food services or retail vending, plus a strong focus on safety, SOP adherence, and team development. This is a full-time on-site position in Akron with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of route management or field operations experience in food services or vending.
• Proven leadership of distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive Route Optimization for Market and Vending routes, ensuring timely execution and client satisfaction.
• Lead employee retention and development, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure SOP compliance across markets and vending operations; audit quality and safety standards.
• Oversee fleet and driver safety, inspections, and preventive maintenance; enforce DOT compliance.
