Job summary

Continental Indianapolis is seeking a Route Manager in Plainfield to lead route optimization, employee retention, and safety for our Market and Vending programs. You will bridge centralized support with field teams to ensure on-time delivery and high guest satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in route operations, a business-related degree, and a strong ability to coach drivers, enforce SOPs, and manage KPIs. Schedule is Monday–Friday, typically 9:00 AM start.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of route management, field operations, or logistics experience in food services or retail vending.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills; proven hiring and retention ability.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Route Optimization: ensure assets scheduled by scheduling are efficiently executed and completed on dates; collaborate to ensure fulfillment, frequency, and client satisfaction.
• Employee Retention & Development: lead recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management; drive engagement and mentorship programs.
• Market and Vending Procedure Compliance: enforce SOPs; audit operations for quality, food safety, merchandising standards, and cleanliness; train staff on updates and satisfaction benchmarks.
• Fleet & Driver Safety: enforce driver safety policies, monitor fleet health, and maintain DOT compliance; manage training and corrective actions.
