Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations. You will ensure products are fresh, neatly displayed, and maintained according to planograms.

You’ll drive company vehicle, collect money from kiosks, and follow safety procedures while reporting inventory and customer feedback. This role suits self-motivated individuals who value reliability and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be 21+ to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs. Roll-out promotions and gather and report customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for all products sold, including beverages, packaged foods, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, fruits, vegetables, candy, pastries, and snacks.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee; follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols.
• Collect and record out-of-date, rejected, or unsold merchandise; monitor shelf life to minimize spoilage losses.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure products are ready for delivery; load and unload per safety protocols; drive the company vehicle to deliver merchandise.
• Maintain open communication with management regarding product changes and scheduling recommendations.
• Handle cash from kiosks; follow cash-handling and loss-prevention protocols; record transactions on forms or handheld devices.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any misconduct; ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items; maintain temperature in coolers.
