Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions seeks a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations, ensuring products are fresh, clean, and appealing. You will build customer relationships, upsell, and drive safe, independent work on the road.

The role includes handling promotions, inventory management, and cash handling while representing Five Star to clients and management. A strong service mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be 21 to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs.
• Roll-out promotions. Gather and report customer feedback.
• Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee. Follow inventory-tracking protocols.
• Load and unload products in accordance with safety protocols. Drive the company vehicle to deliver merchandise.
• Collect money from kiosks. Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention protocols.
• Greet clients and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide product and solution suggestions.
