Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets, maintain clean, attractive displays, and roll out promotions across client locations. You’ll represent Five Star on route days, delivering snacks, drinks, and fresh foods while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires independence, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical route tasks.
• Must be 21 years old to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stock vending machines and micro-markets per store layouts and POGs.
• Roll-out promotions and gather customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for all products (snacks, drinks, fresh foods, etc.).
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee and ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow inventory-tracking and product-rotation protocols.
• Record transactions and follow cash-handling protocols.
• Inspect perishable items and ensure proper refrigeration.
• Coordinate with warehouse for deliveries and route planning.
• Drive company vehicle and upsell where appropriate.
