Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations, keeping items fresh and appealing. The role requires safe driving, independent work, and proactive customer service.

You will build relationships with store personnel, manage inventory levels, and assist with promotions and upsell opportunities while following safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be 21 to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs.
• Roll-out promotions. Gather and report customer feedback.
• Maintain established inventory levels for all products sold, including drinks, snacks, sandwiches, salads, and more.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee; monitor shelf life to minimize spoilage.
• Load and unload products with proper safety protocols; drive the company vehicle.
• Maintain open communication with management about product changes and scheduling.
• Collect money from kiosks; follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items; perform routine cleaning.
