Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Helper to support drivers on residential and commercial routes, delivering reliable assistance and friendly service while adhering to health and safety protocols.

The role requires physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, teamwork, and a safety-minded approach. You will assist with all route duties, including loading/unloading, backing maneuvers, and routine maintenance to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers to complete customer routes and provide excellent service.
• Load and unload containers manually or mechanically.
• Operate equipment to lift and empty bins into truck hopper.
• Maintain containers in the original position after service and assist with backing maneuvers.
• Work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Follow safety guidelines and participate in training and development.
