Job summary

Casella Waste Systems is seeking a Helper to support drivers in completing customer routes with strong safety and service focus. The role involves loading/unloading containers, operating hoisting devices, and returning bins to their original positions, all while maintaining a safe, fast-paced work environment.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and pass pre-employment screening. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds constantly.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with completing customer routes.
• Load and unload containers manually or mechanically.
• Operate hoisting device to lift and dump bins.
• Return serviced bins to original position with covers in place.
• Assist with backing maneuvers on route.
• Lift 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
