You will troubleshoot and repair amusement machines, load/unload trucks with a dolly, and install games at events. A Massachusetts driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (and move equipment up to 250 pounds) are required; overtime

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and ability to meet driving standards.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move equipment up to 250 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Standing for long periods with frequent bending and stooping.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused and self-motivated.
• Team-oriented and able to coordinate with others.
• Overtime may be required, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining amusement machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Action Jackson Amusements is one of New England’s premier providers of coin-operated amusement games, jukeboxes, ATMs, pool tables, and entertainment equipment. Established in 1961 and based in Malden, Massachusetts, we are seeking a dependable Route Driver/Technician to join our on-site team.

This hands-on position combines route driving, customer service, equipment delivery, and technical maintenance. The Route Driver/Technician will service customer locations throughout the assigned territory, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and help ensure our customers receive the prompt, reliable service for which Action Jackson Amusements is known.

Job Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining amusement machines.
• Skilled in basic computer hardware and components for rebuilding and repairing, preferred, but not required.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work.
• Work consists of shop time and work in the field.
• Stock and rotate the warehouse and maintain cleanliness, order, and safety.
• Load/unload trucks and operate the equipment dolly.
• Effectively communicate with management and team members.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and maintaining professional relationships
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety practices preferred
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Assist with the installation of games at various locations and events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Be eager to train and advance into further company roles, such as performing on-site equipment service calls.

Required Qualifications
