Job summary

GENDA Americas is seeking a motivated Retail Merchandiser to service amusement machines across multiple locations in the Akron area. You will drive a company vehicle, stock and clean machines, and ensure visuals and playability while counting pieces for play.

You will also handle cash deposits, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate records with minimal supervision, traveling 1–2 overnights per month as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Strong mathematical skills for inventory and route calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic repair abilities preferred.
• Efficient at managing a workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to multiple locations on a designated route each day.
• Clean amusement machines inside and out and ensure visual appeal and playability.
• Merchandise products in the machines and count pieces for playability.
• Collect cash, coins and tokens and prepare daily deposits as required.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with Tech Support as needed.
• Maintain security of money, machines and merchandise on the route.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with locations staff.
• Keep detailed records of all meters; overnight travel 1–2 times per month.
• Assist other field staff with installing/removing equipment when needed.

Our motto is “Clean, Full and Working,” which means as a Retail Merchandiser you will:

• Drive your company vehicle to several locations on a designated route each day
• Clean amusement machines inside and out – this includes cranes, gumball machines and video games
• Merchandise the product in the machine to make sure it is visually appealing and ready to be played. Counting the number of pieces in the machine is critical for playability
• Collect cash, coin and tokens from machines. You may also be responsible for preparing a daily deposit of monies collected
• Troubleshoot and fix issues the machine may be having and utilize Tech Support as needed
• Account for the security of all money, machines, and merchandise on the route
• Establish and maintain professional relationship with locations and staff
• Detailed record keeping of all meters
• Overnight travel required 1 - 2 per month during the week
• Occasionally you may need to support other Field staff with installing and removing equipment from locations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Retail merchandiser should have strong general mathematical skills
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic machine repair strongly preferred
