Job summary

IST Management is a business process outsourcing company seeking a Route Driver/Package Locker Loader for the Boston campus, delivering to Faculty offices and loading student packages into lockers using new technology. Training and growth opportunities are highlighted at a high-profile university.

Hourly compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 USD, with Monday–Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to about 8 PM. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service/ hospitality/ retail background preferred; prior mail services experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy; A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Lifting up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to designated mail stops, in different Faculty buildings.
• Drive company-provided vehicles around a University campus.
• Deliver and load packages into lockers, in different locations around campus, for student pick up.
• Scan packages in from couriers, scan packages out to customers/s ort and file packages for customer pick up.
• Deliver packages to labs as needed/process outgoing packages.
• Shipping & Receiving; Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper.
• Maintained high levels of customer care while following procedures and taking direction from supervisor.

• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Take direction from supervisor or site manager
• Participate in cross-training and p erform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred; Prior relevant mail services experience is a plus
