Canteen is hiring a full-time Route Driver – Micromarket in Garner, NC. The role delivers products on a set route, services micro markets, and maintains equipment. It requires a valid license and the ability to lift 50 lbs, with some prior merchandising and route experience preferred.

The position starts on weekday mornings with a 5:00 am start and offers opportunity for advancement along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required
• Preferred 1-2 years in customer service or 1 year related experience
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license (state dependent)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets
• Provide excellent client and customer service in all aspects of performance
• Display understanding of company policies and administer as needed
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro markets and equipment
• Report defective equipment to maintenance/technician dispatcher
• Ensure truck is loaded properly for each day’s route
• Inform clients of new products and services and resolve complaints
• Set up displays and distribute sales promotion materials
• Handle receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures
• Keep vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip inspections
• Perform duties in a safe and professional manner
• Other duties as assigned
