Job summary

Canteen is hiring a full-time Route Driver to manage a micromarket route in Garner, NC. The role includes delivering products, stocking micro markets, ensuring sanitation, and maintaining client relationships.

A valid Non-CDL Class C license is required, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work a 5:00 am start, Monday–Friday. Ideal candidates have 3 years of driving experience and strong customer service aptitude, with opportunities for growth within the Compass Group family.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment.
• Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets; reports defective equipment as needed.
• Ensure truck is loaded with all products before routes.
• Inform clients of new products or services and resolve complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotions for customers.
• Account for all receipts, invoices, and cash.
