Job summary

Canteen in Norwood, MA is hiring a full-time Route Driver to service micromarkets on an established route. You will deliver products, stock micro markets, and maintain equipment while presenting a professional image.

No prior experience is required for some roles, but a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. The position offers $21.00 per hour with referrals bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, on route, with minimal supervision 98% of the work day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets and report defects to maintenance.
• Ensure truck is loaded with all products for scheduled markets following procedures.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services and resolve service complaints.
• Set up displays and promotional materials for customers.
• Account for receipts, invoices, and cash collections.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per district procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and perform pre/post trip inspections.
