Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-load or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste and recyclables.
• Open containers and access cans; roll 3-4 yard cans for dumping.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; complete vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public and relay issues to management.
• Maintain logs (route/productivity sheet, vehicle condition report) as required by law.
• Maneuver the truck using mirrors and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety standards and company policies on vehicle operation.
