Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multiple residential and commercial routes, removing waste and recyclables and ensuring timely service of customer contracts.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
Ability to meet safety-sensitive functions per company standards.
Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
Open containers and load/unload cans as needed; dump at facilities.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness around truck and work area; ensure safety at sites.
Submit logs and route productivity sheets as required by law/policy.
Locating service addresses via map or GPS; follow safety procedures.
