Job summary

GFL is seeking Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks delivering reliable waste collection services across multiple residential and commercial routes. You will service several customers daily and transfer waste to the appropriate facilities, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of trucking experience or CDL school completion, and the ability to safely operate equipment while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria according to company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and maneuver cans as needed.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public and report issues to supervision as required.
• Maintain cleanliness around the truck and trash containers and ensure safe dumping operations.
